FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in an agricultural building near Bromyard overnight.
Crews from Bromyard and the water carrier from Leominster were called to reports of the blaze in a chicken shed in Edwyn Ralph in the early hours of this morning (July 30).
A fire service spokesperson said: "Three Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – two from Bromyard and one from Leominster – were called at 03.48am on July 30 to a fire in an single-storey agricultural building 140ft by 140ft.
"The building was destroyed by fire and extinguished using two hosereel jets which were also used to dampen down the surrounding areas.
"Western Power were called to isolate the power supply. A re-inspection was carried out this morning before the incident was closed at 11.45am."
