THERE have been no more coronavirus-related deaths at Herefordshire's care homes, with 61 people known to have died to date.
Office for National Statistics data shows that 126 deaths involving Covid-19 were provisionally registered in Herefordshire up to July 25, one more than the week before.
The increase of one comes after one more death at a hospital, which rose by one to 58, the ONS figures show.
Some 68 deaths have occurred outside hospital – including 61 in care homes and four at private homes. A further three deaths occurred in hospices.
The figures are based on where Covid-19 is mentioned anywhere on the death certificate.
This is in contrast to daily figures from NHS England which only show patients who died at the Wye Valley NHS Trust after testing positive for coronavirus.
The ONS figures include deaths that occurred up to July 17 but were registered up to eight days later.
