THESE are some of the recent Herefordshire cases heard by magistrates.

Marc Raymond Jenkins admitted breaching a restraining order when he appeared before magistrates on July 10.

Magistrates in Kidderminster heard the 38-year-old had contacted his victim, who lives in Herefordshire, on May 9, in breach of the banning order imposed in March 2015 on May 9.

Jenkins, who is from Langdale Drive, Worcester, was jailed for 23 weeks due to a number of aggravating features, and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.

No costs order was imposed due to a lack of means.

Louise Emily Taylor, of The Crescent, Kington, admitted possessing both class A and class B drugs when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford on July 10.

The court heard Taylor had been found to have both cannabis and diamorphine in her possession in Kington on May 5.

The 49-year-old was handed a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge.

No costs order was made due to Taylor's lack of means.

Allan David Lawton, of Belmont Road, Hereford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place and resisting a constable in the execution of his duty during the May 26 incident, which took place on Hereford's Hinton Road.

He also admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress on May 2 when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on July 10.

Magistrates handed 33-year-old Lawton a six month conditional discharge. He must also pay a £22 victim surcharge.

No costs order was made.
