ARMED officers were called after a disturbance was reported at a home in Malvern this morning.
Police were called to an address at Baxter Walk, where four men are believed to have entered at around 5.30am this morning (July 6).
Officers attended, including armed officers, and carried out a search of a home and surrounding area which proved negative.
A cordon remains in place and officers will remain in the area to offer reassurance.
No-one was harmed during the incident.
Detective Inspector Tony Garner said: “We know that a significant police presence can cause concern, and I would like to reassure local residents that a search of the area has been carried out, but that at this time nothing untoward has been identified.
"We are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen anyone acting suspiciously, or any unusual vehicle activity in the area.
“Officers will remain in the area into the evening to carry out patrols and to provide reassurance to the local community.”
