THERE was lots to shout about in Ledbury today, Monday, June 15.

Borrowing Bromyard's champion Town Crier, Peder Neilsen to address shoppers and traders, announcing that Ledbury is very much open for business but please, shop with caution and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Ledbury is of course a beautiful market town with many independent shops and boutiques. With 245 listed buildings and the stunning Tudor Market House as a backdrop for shoppers, the town had a vibrant buzz to it.

Mayor Phillip Howells, Caroline Green representing the market traders and Angela Price, town clerk have worked very hard with their teams to ensure that businesses have risk assessed and have all the information necessary to provide a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

Councillor Knight was on hand to give out welcome back leaflets to the shops and contact numbers for Covid-19 guidelines for the workplace.

Kim Leeds has been a business owner in Ledbury for sometime now, however, closing to relocate to new premises just before lockdown.

Delighted to be back, Kim said:"We are very excited at the Bra Boudoir to be open today.

" It has felt like such a long time and I can not wait to welcome shoppers back".

The Bra Boudoir was the first shop in Ledbury to be formally announced as open by the Town Crier.
