POLICE have again had to remove people from a dangerous quarry near Ledbury as swimmers sought relief from the high temperatures this weekend.
Officers from Ledbury, Malvern and Upton police stations were in attendance at Gullet Quarry, where they found well over 100 people in and around the quarry boundaries on Sunday afternoon (May 31).
Police said a number of those had breached the barbed wire fences to access the quarry.

Those spoken to by police were not all local, with visitors from Birmingham, Redditch and Gloucester among the crowd.
Officers also cleared litter left behind by day trippers.
West Mercia Police have previously warned of the dangers of the quarry, which is on the Worcestershire border, due to the risk of cold water shock and the risk of spreading coronavirus.
The notorious quarry has already claimed young lives, including Justas Juzenas, aged 22, of Ross-on-Wye.
