FIRE crews spent several hours tackling a blaze at a house in Kingstone on Friday evening after two cars caught fire.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service was called at 4.20pm on Friday to the village, south-west of Hereford.

Hereford Times:

A spokesperson said six appliances were initially sent to the scene where two cars were on fire inside a garage, connected to the house. The blaze then spread into the roof of the house.

Hereford Times:

Crews from Hereford, Ewyas Harold, Peterchurch and Eardisley were in attendance, and a water carrier was also sent to the scene.

All persons were accounted for and it's believed no one was injured in the fire.

As of 11pm on Friday, a spokesperson said the main fire was out, but crews would continue to inspect the property and a salvage operation to remove belongings from the house was underway.
