A FARMING family is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their farm shop in Staunton-on-Wye, and have a hamper up for grabs.
Oakchurch Farm Shop manager Nick Price said: “Yes, it was 50 years ago that my parents, Ros and Edward Price, started selling pick-your-own strawberries from a little wooden shed on the side of the road on the busy A438 Brecon Road.
“Oakchurch Farm Shop has come on a long way since then.”
The family want to commemorate the milestone year through a picture storyboard on a wall at the farm shop and they’re asking for help to find old photographs taken over the years.
“We’re hoping that we might even get some pictures that have been taken here at Oakchurch,” he said.
Mr Price is offering Taste of Herefordshire food hampers worth £250 as a draw prize and everyone who supplies a pictures will be entered.
Pictures should be sent to nick@oakchurch.net
