THIS year’s Stadium Fest has been postponed with the new date proposed being Sunday, August 30.

The event which is due to remain at Edgar Street was postponed from its initial date of May 24, due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Some of those due to play at the event include Tulisa, Atomic Kitten and S Club 3 along with a host of Clubland, Flashback 90’s and 00’s performers.

A statement by Stadium Fest said: “We appreciate all of your support through these hard times and we would like you all to know that the health and safety of our customers, artists and co-workers is our number one priority.

“With that in mind we are left with no other option than to postpone this event until a later date in the summer.

“This is based on the pending social distancing guidelines from our government, but we are confident that given this new date is almost five months from now then things should be back to normal by then.”

Tickets purchased are valid for the new date and refunds can be made via the ticket provider for those that can’t make the new date.
