THE number of people who have died in England after testing positive for coronavirus has risen by 621, but none were recorded in Herefordshire.

As at 5pm yesterday (Saturday) a total of 4,934 have now died in the country - down from 708 the previous day.
The latest testing figures show a total of 195,524 people have been tested, with 47,806 positive results - up from 41,903 cases on Friday.

The local figures for confirmed cases will be released later this afternoon, but there have been no more deaths in the Wye Valley NHS Trust area.
