In these uncertain times, it’s all too easy to get bogged down in the negatives - but us Bradfordians are a resilient and resourceful bunch, and amid the crisis there are countless reasons to be cheerful.

We’ve all got our part to play in getting through these testing times. Here’s your chance to bring a smile to people’s faces and highlight the good things happening right across our district - however big or small.

On this page, the Telegraph & Argus is inviting you to share your stories, pictures and messages of positivity. Simply click the red button at the end of this page to contribute.

If you would like to let us know about a group set up in Bradford to help the elderly, vulnerable and self-isolating, please email us at newsdesk@telegraphgandargus.co.uk

All across our district, brilliant Bradford people are stepping up to this huge challenge with love and positivity, selflessly helping others or simply making the best of a tough situation.

These difficult and unprecedented times have brought to the fore our city’s extraordinary community spirit, creativity and tenacity.

What has brought a smile to your face this week?

  • Have you seen any random acts of kindness amid the supermarket rushes, or helped out a neighbour in need? Tell us how you’re aiming to make a difference, or about our local heroes and their kind gestures - big or small.
  • Are you aiming to turn a negative into a positive for your business? Maybe you’ve been getting creative to keep the money coming in - let us know.
  • Have you had a good idea on how to keep yourself or older members of your family occupied during self-isolation? Share them with us to help others in the same position.
  • Has a company, group or individual gone above and beyond to help you or someone you know? Let’s hear your story to spread a little positivity.
  • Have you had some good news? Perhaps there’s been a birth in the family, or you’ve completed a project you’ve been working on. We’d love to see your pictures.
  • Have your little ones or pets been making you smile? Let us know how you’re keeping busy with them at home, or preparing for school closures.
  • Perhaps you have a message of positivity you'd like to share. Whether it's a poem, a letter, or an inspirational quote, you can send it below.

What is your response?MAKING MOTHERING SUNDAY SPECIAL! BLOOMING MARVELLOUS! ~ CLAYTON PARISH CHURCH MOTHERS’ UNION SPREAD A LITTLE LOVE & KINDNESS Despite many of its members currently in social isolation heeding Government advice, Clayton Parish Church Mothers’ Union were still keen to mark Mothering Sunday and brighten the days of others, offering bunches of daffodils, for members of the community to take to their neighbours and loved ones, especially those who may be isolated or feeling vulnerable at this time. A simple message attached to the bunches of daffodils, left outside the church, read ‘From us to You in Jesus name. Please take one and share in His love’
