A total of 590 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK - jumping from 456 on Wednesday.
In the latest update by the Department of Health, as of 9am on March 12 - 29,764 people have been tested.
There are now 44 confirmed cases in Yorkshire and North East, and increase of 12 (37%) on Wednesday's regional figure of 32.

Meanwhile, two more patients have died in UK hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus, taking the total to 10, NHS England said.
