A HEREFORD road has been closed as council contractors work to repair damage caused by flooding last week.
Hinton Road will be closed daily between 9am and 5pm for resurfacing works, until Saturday, February 29.
The road, which runs between Holme Lacy Road and Ross Road, was flooded last Monday (February 17) when the river Wye burst its banks.
Residents were forced to evacuate as they woke up in the middle of the night to find the downstairs of their properties flooded.
