Pedestrian suffers serious injuries in rush hour collision
A pedestrian has suffered serious injuries in a road accident this morning.
Commuters are being warned of congestion in Deane Road with a number of roads closed as police investigate.
A large corden is in place and traffic is already building up.
Details around the crash or the condition of the pedestrian are not known at this stage.
Residents living near Deane Road said they were first awoken by a large police response from as early as 3.30am.
