POLICE stopped a motorist who was driving with a child on his lap.
The vehicle was stopped on Crumpsall Street, Bolton yesterday evening and the driver was not only found to have a four-year-old child on his lap, he has no insurance.
The car was seized and the driver was reported for having no insurance and driving with a child not securely restrained.
The motorist was stopped by Bolton North neighbourhood team police patrols.
Police posted on Facebook: "#SEIZURE | An officer from the #BoltonNorth Neighbourhood Team patrolling the #Crompton area stopped this vehicle earlier this evening on Crumpsall Street. The driver had a four year old child on his lap whilst driving, as well as no insurance. The vehicle has been seized and the driver has been reported for having no insurance and driving with a child not securely restrained."
