STUDENTS at St Mary’s RC High School, Lugwardine, are performing Journey’s End on January 28 and 29.
The play is a harrowing insight into the humanity of the First World War based on RC Sherriff’s own experiences in the trenches.
It is a compelling and rarely performed play that brings the courage and inescapable tragedy of warfare to the stage.
It is also a considerable challenge for a school cast.
The cast have invested a lot of time and energy in preparing for their performance over many months and are excited about sharing their work with audiences.
Tickets are available for £5 from the school office at St Mary’s on 01432 850416, and on the door.
