AN AMBULANCE on an emergency call was attacked by a man in Hereford city centre.
Inspector Simon Arinze said: “We received a report in the early hours of Sunday morning that an ambulance was delayed at the junction of Blue School Street and Commercial Road in Hereford.
“The ambulance was responding to an emergency call and we believe it was obstructed by a man who stood in the road in front of the vehicle.
"It is believed he then threw a punch at the ambulance as the crew drove around him.
“We take reports like this extremely seriously and we would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen what happened or has any information relating to this incident to call us on 101 quoting reference 120s of 12 January.”
