HAVE YOU been lucky enough to see these amazing displays in Herefordshire?
The murmurations are back at Wellington gravel pits, near Hereford.
This incredible display of starlings has recently been seen in the late afternoon, from about 3.30pm onwards. Its amazing to watch if you manage to see them! If you see any others, please let us know!
It's basically a mass aerial stunt - thousands of birds all swooping and diving in unison. It's completely breathtaking to witness.
According to the RSPB, the birds group together for safety: predators such as peregrine falcons find it hard to target one bird in a flock of thousands.
They gather over their roosting site, and perform their wheeling stunts before they roost for the night.
