HEREFORDSHIRE Gliding Club has been awarded the British Gliding Association's 'Best Practice Award'.
Selection for this award is based upon several factors, including the quality of training and coaching, design and development of club facilities and buildings, efficient and effective operation of the flying programme, membership development and community benefit.
This award is an endorsement of team work and commitment by the club's members over several years. Herefordshire Gliding Club is currently running a young persons training programme and recently opened a new hangar for the storage of the club's aircraft, including its two-seat training gliders.
