TEMPERATURES are set to fall to freezing in Herefordshire tonight (Monday), with a warning of dense fog tomorrow morning.
The Met Office says the mercury is likely to drop to 0C from 10pm-11pm and stay low throughout the early hours.
Herefordshire still has areas of floodwater standing on roads, so drivers should take extra caution.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for fog for Tuesday, which means there is likely to be some travel disruption.
Visibility could be less than 100m in areas.
Public Health England (PHE) has also issued a cold weather warning from 9am on Monday until midnight on Wednesday.
Dr Emer OConnell, a consultant at PHE, advised people to look out for anyone who may need help staying warm.
"Older people and those with heart and lung problems are at risk of getting sick in cold weather," she said.
