A ROUND-UP of cases heard by the magistrates over the last week. The details published below are from official publicly available court registers.

November 6

Hayley Sian Jude, 42, of Prospect Walk, Hereford, pleaded guilty to owning a dangerously out of control dog, contrary to section 3 and 4 of the Dangerous Dogs Act.

An order was made for the destruction of Jude's Dogue De Bordeaux, Eric, after he injured a child at Tupsley Play Park on July 17.

A veterinary expert confirmed the dog shows signs of aggression, and he was signed over to West Mercia Police.

Jude was also fined £60 and ordered to pay compensation of £500. She must pay costs of £85 and a £32 victim surcharge.

William Roger Gough, 27, of Rochford, Tenbury Wells was banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving on the B4230 near Kington.

A blood test revealed Gough had 168 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood when he was taken into custody on May 26.

Gough was disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £335. He must pay costs of £135 and a £35 victim surcharge.

Poitr Lagodzinski, 41, of Cedar Close, Moreton on Lugg, admitted failing to provide a blood sample to police after it was suspected that he had been driving on October 21.

Lagonzinski was fined £1,000 and received 10 points on his licence. He must pay costs of £135 and a £100 victim surcharge.

Sean O'Sullivan, 46, of Waterside, Credenhill, pleaded guilty to using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress on June 26.

He also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress on August 14.

O'Sullivan was fined £40 and must pay costs of £60 and a £32 victim surcharge.

Michal Piotr Dziurowicz, 39, of Prior Street, Hereford, admitted possessing cannabis and driving on the A49 with drugs in his system on June 25.

A blood test revealed 234mg of cocaine metabolite Benzoylecgonine per 100ml blood, and 4.3mg of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol per 100ml of blood.

Dziurowicz was disqualified from driving for three years and fined £40. He must pay costs of £185 and a £30 victim surcharge.

Charlie Spencer, 25, of Hunderton Road, Hereford, was banned from the roads after he was caught riding a Yamaha YZF 125cc motorcycle while over the drug-driving limit.

A blood test revealed he had 3.7mg of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinnol per litre of blood.

Spencer was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £80. He must also pay £135 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

Terence Housley, 59, of St Helen's Road, Lichfield, admitted driving without due care and attention after his Land Rover Discovery veered onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into a car travelling in the other direction on the B4203 near Bromyard on June 10.

Housley was fined 200 and received nine points on his licence. He must also pay £60 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Charlie Lewis McMillan, 27, of Lawnside Road, Ledbury, admitted driving without insurance near Ledbury on April 25.

McMillan was fined £120 received six points on his licence. He must also pay £60 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

November 7

Lincoln Marcus Owens, 23, of Catherine Drive, Tongwynlais, was hit with a fine after he was caught speeding on the A40 near Ross-on-Wye.

Owens admitted driving his Audi along the stretch at more than 70 miles an hour on the dual carriageway on April 2.

Owens was fined £146 and received three points on his licence. He must pay costs of £60 and a £30 victim surcharge.

Adrian Poole, 43, of Wigmore Street, Leominster, admitted driving his MG ZT without insurance on Holmer Road, Hereford on March 3.

Poole was fined £80 and received six points on his licence. He must pay costs of £60 and a £30 victim surcharge.
