It's snowing in Herefordshire today!

Plunging temperatures have turned the rain that is falling in parts of the county to what may be the first snowfall of the autumn/winter.

Victoria Martin-Kirkham, who lives in the Pipe Aston area in the north of the county, sent us this video.

She said: "Those red skies I saw this morning foretold this. It's really mucky outside.

"It's now sleeting and snowing intermittently: heavy and mucky."

Meanwhile, Jo Layton send this video of snow in Presteigne, Powys.

The Met Office is today forecasting rain, heavy at times, with some snow on the hills. It will feel cold.

Leominster police warned drivers to take extra care in the snowy conditions.

Herefordshire Council/Balfour Beatty Living Places say no gritting is required on the county's roads. Temperatures are expected to above freezing.
