A POLICE officer was allegedly assaulted after they were called to reports of anti-social behaviour in Hereford city centre.
Shortly before 8.30am this morning, West Mercia Police were called to Widemarsh Street.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Upon arrival at the incident one police officer was assaulted.
"One man was arrested for breach of the peace and a second man was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
"Both men are now in custody at Hereford police station."
