Show-stoppers

WEST Kirby Musical Theatre Company presents a 70th anniversary concert next month.

The group - formerly known as West Kirby Light Opera Society - will stage West End Tonight at Westbourne Hall, West Kirby from Friday November 1 to Sunday, November 3.

An unmissable concert is promised, packed with show-stopping songs from shows including Lion King, Blood Brothers, Dreamgirls, Ghost, The Greatest Showman and more.

The show will feature dancing from the Wallasey School of Ballet.

The concert will also showcase numbers from Chess, which will be performed by the company at the Floral Pavilion in June next year.

A CHARITY Christmas Fair will be held at Claremount Church in Wallasey a week on Saturday, October 26 from 10-2pm. Admission free.

THE Irby Artists next exhibition is on Saturday, November 16.

Featuring more than 250 items of art and craft it will be on view at St Chad’s Church Hall, Roslin Road, Irby from 10am-5pm.

ENTRIES are now open for The 71st Wirral Festival of Music, Speech and Drama, taking place in March next year.

The speech and drama elements take place on March 21, with Music on Mach 27 and 28.

PORT Sunlight Players are looking for new members to join them for their production of Christmas Cracker. The show will feature songs from musicals as well as Christmas songs.
