One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended, and the driver of the car was cut free by the fire service before being taken to Hereford County Hospital.

The lorry driver was not injured, said a spokesperson for the ambulance service.

A Hereford Times campaign is urging drivers to slow down and stay safe on the county's roads: #SlowDownStaySafe.

It is not known at this stage if speed was a factor in the Leintwardine crash.
