A WOMAN was held at knife-point by a gang of men during a terrifying robbery at a Colley Gate pub this morning.

The gang burst into The Round of Beef on Windmill Hill at 3am and demanded money from the safe.

A blade and crowbar were pointed at the victim in the shocking incident which saw the men escape with cash and jewellery.

The robbers tried to steal the CCTV hard drive to cover their tracks, but dropped it as they fled.

Police forensic officers have been at the scene.

A spokesman for the pub took to Facebook, urging anyone with information to come forward.

He said: “The Beef has been broken into this morning at 3.05am. Four masked men broke into the upstairs, took money out a safe and the till, etc. We’re not bothered about the money or anything else but Lisa was held at knifepoint and crowbars.

“Forensics are here and the processes they have gone through makes us believe they had inside knowledge of where things were etc.

“Luckily they dropped the CCTV hard drive and the new ANPR cameras on the carpark are working through the third party company.

“Can everyone check their own cameras they may have on their drives etc as we want to find out who's done this? We’re not bothered about the money or anything taken but want them to get justice for what’s happened.”

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “Police were called to reports of an armed robbery at a pub on Windmill Hill, Halesowen at around 3.15am this morning (Tuesday, September 24).

“It’s believed that four masked men entered the property and threatened the occupants with a knife.

“Cash and jewellery have been stolen.”
