The man who signed the likes of Oasis, Primal Scream and The Jesus and Mary Chain will talk about some of the biggest bands of the last 30 years at a special event in Hereford.

Alan McGee, as co-founder of Creation Records, rubbed shoulders with the country's most famous musicians as he managed the careers of stars like the Gallagher brothers, Pete Doherty and Bobby Gillespie.

The Glaswegian will be giving his thoughts on any potential Oasis reunion and his thoughts on the current music industry when he appears at the Left Bank on Friday, September 27.

The evening, which begins at 8pm, will also include a screening of the Liam Gallagher documentary, As It Was, and a question and answer session with McGee.

Tickets, priced at £12, are available from Calandras Menswear on Church Street in Hereford.
