A STUDENT at Hereford Sixth For College found out she now has five A*s, in the early hours of the morning, and will be off to Cambridge.
Nia Bolland, from Crossgates, near Llandrindod Wells, made the discovery after checking her exam results at 4am, while on a family holiday in Canada.
She is a former Builth Wells High School student, who more recently has been studying at Hereford Sixth Form College.
In a message her family said: "She was pleased to receive her excellent A level results today (August 15) at 4 am while visiting family in Canada.
"Together with her two early A levels she now has five A*s in mathematics, creative writing, government and politics, history and English literature, as well as an A in AS further maths.
"She has been accepted at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University, to study human, social and political sciences."
