A FORMER timber Catholic church could be demolished and replaced with housing, if plans are approved by Herefordshire Council.
An application has been submitted to demolish St Marys Roman Catholic Church, in Broad Oak, west of Ross-on-Wye and replace it with a pair of semi detached cottages.
The three-bedroom properties would be built of stone with slate roofs and include garages.
The application has been submitted by the Trustees of Belmont Abbey.
Comments can be made on application 192577 until September 6, with a decision expected by September 19.
