A WINDOW at a Hereford museum has been told it has the best view in the Midlands.

An expert panel of judges chose the window at the Black and White House Museum, in High Town, which came out on top against a range of stunning views across the region.

The view of the city centre shops and All Saints Church went up against other buildings including hotels, restaurants, bars and museums.

It's the fourth annual window with a view competition, launched earlier this year by MyGlazing.com.

The museum will now go into the national final where it will against others from the 10 regions, including St Michael's Mount in Cornwall, Titanic Hotel, Belfast and BT Tower in London.

Winners will be chosen via a social media poll.

James Lee, Director of Marketing at MyGlazing.com, said: "We're now in the fourth year of the Window with a View competition and the standard this year has been the best yet, with some outstanding examples of architecture and natural beauty submitted.

"It's therefore fitting recognition to the quality of the view from the Black and White House Museum that it has been voted as the best in the Midlands."
