I see that North Herefordshire MP Bill Wiggin and Hereford and South Herefordshire MP Jesse Norman were both among the disgraceful anti-democratic MPs who effectively voted for the proroguing of Parliament recently.

In other words, they supported the suspension of Parliament [and themselves] so that a future Prime Minister could slip a no-deal Brexit past Parliament without democratic control and scrutiny.

And this is how they think Brexit is meant to bring back Britain’s sovereignty?

Any form of Brexit will make us all poorer and a no-deal Brexit will be especially destructive for our farmers.

I see that both Herefordshire MPs voted to give the Prime Minister the power to shut down Parliament and so prevent MPs deciding whether or not the UK should leave the EU without a deal.

Isn’t it ironic that the Brexiters, who say they want to free us from decisions made by unelected officials in Brussels, seem happy, indeed keen, to hand over to an unelected prime minister the most important constitutional decision this country has faced in a long time?
