A PLANE crash landed in a field near the runway after misjudging the approach on Thursday afternoon, but thankfully nobody was injured.
Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service were called to Shobdon Airfield, near Leominster, at 3.50pm to reports of a light aircraft that had come down in a nearby field, but no one was injured.
Kingsland Fire Station said: "Crews from Kingsland and Leominster attended this plane that crash landed into a potato field near the runway at Shobdon, thankfully no serious injuries or major damage to the plane.
"The pilot approached the runway slightly too low and was unable to regain altitude to make it to the main runway."
