A MAN in his 70s suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital when he was knocked over by a car in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The accident happened in Hereford at 2.35am on the A49 after a grey Ford Focus entered the roundabout off Newmarket Street and hit a pedestrian as it travelled towards Edgar Street.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains.
West Mercia Police said his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 117s of June 16.
