On Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16, English Heritage present a series of Minecraft castle building workshops.

Ancient and modern will be mixed up for Minecraft fans in a second season of castle building workshops, curated by Blockbuilders.

Last year these were hugely over-subscribed, so this summer sees a series of ticketed events, which you will need to reserve and pay for in advance. Normal admission prices to the Goodrich Castle also apply.

The lower age limit for this event is 7 years old. Any participating children under the age of 16 must also be accompanied by an adult. Please note that whilst we are happy to supervise the children for the duration of the workshop you will need to remain on the premises, as all children under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult whilst on an English Heritage site.

Workshops held at 10am, 11.15am, 12.30pm, 2.15pm, 3.30pm & 4.45pm. Workshops last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes each.

To purchase your tickets, call 0370 333 1181 (Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm, Sat 9am – 5pm). Telephone bookings will close at 3pm on Friday.
