The Brightside Festival will raise money for Breast Cancer Haven and Macmillan Cancer Support and tickets are available now
A BRAND new music event The Brightside Festival is taking place in Ashperton on Saturday, June 22 from noon.
The festival is in commemoration of local woman Karen King who was a great music lover.
All net profits will support Breast Cancer Haven and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The headliners include Definitely Britpop, arguably the best tribute band of that era, and Blur tribute act Blury, plus 50s and 60s hits from The Mustangs.
There will also be street food, full bar, children's activities, raffle, fun and games.
Overnight camping is included in the price.
