The Courtyard’s resident dance company, 2Faced Dance present their brand new children’s show What The Moon Saw.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen, What The Moon Saw follows young Jack, who opens his bedroom window to find a familiar friendly face; The Moon. Audiences can watch Jack’s world come to life in this short, interactive story of dance, circus and music – perfect for ages 3+.

Established in 1999 by Tamsin Fitzgerald, 2Faced Dance has not only increased dance provision for young people in the Herefordshire community but has become an internationally renowned company, performing across Europe at a mixture of arts centres and celebrity events including the MTV Awards.

Following an extensive international tour, this leading contemporary dance company are delighted to bring a magical show to audiences in their hometown.

“Creating a children’s show has been a brilliant and fun experience.” says Tamsin Fitzgerald “We have toured the show across the UK and the world and it’s very special to be bringing it back to our hometown. We are proud to be based here and celebrate Herefordshire internationally and we can’t wait to share our work with all the children, young people and families across the county.”

To add some fun to the experience, audiences can come to the show in their pyjamas and will be invited to join the cast on stage at the end of the performance. 2Faced Dance will also be running free, pre-show activities on all three days.

What The Moon Saw will be at The Courtyard from Thursday, June 6 to Saturday, June 8. To book, call the box office on 01432 340555 or visit courtyard.org.uk
