Highly respected violin player and singer Tom McConville will be performing at The Courtyard on Friday, May 31.

Tom has a worldwide reputation spanning the last 40 years. He is a winner of the coveted BBC Radio 2 Folk Musician of the year, and has played, toured and recorded with some of the most prestigious bands on the folk scene, as well as being a well-known and much-loved solo act in his own right.

For this performance, Tom is joined by musician and storyteller Tony Wilson. Tom and Tony used to play alongside each other as a duo in the mid-seventies and continued to perform in a variety of bands and groups until 1980. With over 80 years of combined musical, storytelling and theatrical experience the duo always aim to give an enjoyable and memorable performance.

The performance is filled with music and song on guitar, fiddle, banjo and ukulele. Together Tom and Tony present a truly entertaining, interactive, enjoyable and professional collection of music and songs to engage any audience.
