Local jazz and blues guitarist Remi Harris will be performing his new project ‘Light & Shade’ at the Conquest Theatre on Friday, May 25. This brand new show, which melds an eclectic mix of acoustic, jazz, rock and blues will take place in his hometown, Bromyard.

Remi, 31 said “I’m really excited to be launching this new project in the town I grew up in. I’ve focused on jazz music the last few years, but originally my roots are in playing rock and blues. This show brings together all the genres of music that have inspired me over the years and I can’t wait wait to take it on the road. The first part of the evening will be acoustic jazz and the second part will be electric rock and blues.”

Remi will appear on stage with long standing friend and collaborator Shane Dixon on drums along with Simon Smith on double and electric bass. With a plethora of experience between Harris, Dixon and Smith the night is expected to be a stunning evening of high standard musicianship performing original material as well as new arrangements of jazz, blues and rock classics.

Guests will enjoy a wide range of music from Django Reinhardt, Wes Montgomery, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac, as well as Remi’s original compositions.

The concert will take place on 24th May at the Conquest Theatre, Bromyard.
