FIREFIGHTERS will be swapping hoses and breathing apparatus for bikes and crash helmets as they raise money for charity.
Leominster Fire Station will hold an on road leisure ride in aid of the Firefighters Charity on Saturday, June 8.
It aims to help serving and retired fire service personnel and their families in times of need.
There will be a choice of two routes, either 31 or 68 miles, which will provide opportunities for varying levels of ability for the ride on Saturday, June 8. The routes are organised so each rider can complete it within a reasonable time, providing them with a personal challenge during a day's cycling.
