KINGTON and District Operatic Society visited the East Radnor Day Centre recently in Presteigne, singing excerpts from The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan.

The staff and some of the centre users entered into the spirit of the occasion by dressing up as pirates.

Songs from some very frightened policemen and fierce (though kind hearted) pirates, not to mention sweet little maidens, ensured a lively and fun afternoon.

The East Radnorshire Day Centre is a professional organization helping to support people in the local community who are finding it difficult to manage on their own.

Senior carer, Angela Wait, enthusiastically thanked KADOS for their performance and asked them to visit the centre again.
