A DRIVER had a lucky escape after their car rolled over on the M50.
Fire crews from Ross-on-Wye were called to the scene of the crash in the eastbound carriageway of the motorway between Junction 3 for Newent and Junction 4 for Ross at 4.37am today.
The single occupant of the overturned vehicle, which had sustained substantial damage in the crash, was checked by paramedics and discharged at the scene.
An ambulance service spokesperson confirmed that the driver had not sustained any injuries.
One lane on the motorway was briefly closed whilst the carriageway was cleared of debris and the car was recovered.
