Nearly 60 tractors turned out to raise £650 towards funds for the Hundred House Village Hall’s floor restoration fund.
Mervyn Price in his JCB fastrac led the tractors in a tour of the communities of Cregina, Rhulen, Llanbwchllyn, to the lunch stop overlooking Boughrood and the Wye Valley.
After lunch, the tractors headed downhill to Boughrood, Boughrood Breast, Glasbury, Cwmbach, Ffynnon Gynydd, over the Begwyns to Paincastle over Rhulen Hill to retrace their steps to Cregina and back to the Hall in Hundred House.
The drivers were treated to tea & cakes and their certificates, while a raffle was drawn with prizes coming from the local community.
Next stop for the tractors is Llanwrtyd Wells to raise money for Ysgol Dolafon. More details from James Davies, 01591 610416.
