FOLLOWING their AGM in April, Soroptimist International Hereford and District started their new year with a positive focus on recruitment.
On a display stand in the High Street recently, they provided varied information of their organization displaying local, Federation and international projects.
Also included in the display were the details of the Federation president's theme for the year which is Think On It - raising awareness of mental health challenges and members displayed their new badges advertising this logo.
This was the first of their planned events, the next being on May 25 at All Saints Church, Hereford and ending with an open evening on June 17 at 7pm at The Pilgrim Hotel, Much Birch.
The club welcomed visitors to the display stand and heard accounts of personal interests in the organization with a special guest being the Mayor of Hereford Sue Boulter.
If anyone wishes to join the club then do try and attend one of the outlined dates and venues or visit the sigbi.org website to view some of the club's programmes.
