Following significant airplay of several single releases on BBC H&W’s Introducing programme, Worcestershire’s Arcadia Roots will play The Globe in Hay-on-Wye on Saturday night. The quartet whose infectious rhythms and soundscapes never fail to get audiences to their feet are no strangers to the festival scene. In the last 12 months Arcadia Roots have played Lakefest, The Pilton Party, Nantwich Jazz and Blues Festival; Sunshine Festival; The One Love Festival; Green gathering, BoSFest and Keynsham Music Festival.

The jewel in the crown for 2018 Arcadia Roots was being invited to perform in front of an international audience at the John Bonham Memorial celebration in September 2018 where their dub version of Whole Lotta Love won over the die hard Zep fans.

A recent quote from the forthcoming Tenbury Festival has also created a lot of additional activity in the band's future bookings.

" I’m talking about the fabulous Arcadia Roots. It’s time to make them the national sensation they deserve to be."

"Arcadia Roots were an energetic, crowd pleasing blast on the main stage at Lakefest 2018, I would recommend them for any festival" said Paul O'Neill at Lakefest.

Arcadia Roots will be at The Globe on Saturday, May 11 at 8pm. For tickets, call 01497 821762.
