IT gives the phrase 'the telephone book' a whole new meaning.
For the books in Luston might well have come from the village phone box - or rather, the Parish Mini Library.
The tiny library was officially opened by Parish Council Chairman Ian Stevens, together with Cllr Ann Brandish and Cllr Aerona Egerton.
The initiative by the Parish Council was to utilise a decommissioned BT telephone box for the use of the community at large.
Residents are encouraged to donate, read and return the books, saving them trips to charity shops or libraries in towns.
There is a selection to suit children and adults.
