A Hereford book store is on the move - and aiming to create a 'Kids Hub'.
The Children's Bookshelf, which has been trading from the Marshall Business Centre on Faraday Road for the past two years, is moving to the old Lighting Shop next to the Herdsman Pub in Hereford.
The firm sell new children's books for £2 each, and visit primary schools and run pop up book events. For every 10 books sold the school earns one free book. So just over 4,000 free books have been handed out.
The Grand Opening is on Saturday, May 11, from 10am to 5pm.
Two rooms upstairs will be hired out to local child-orientated businesses to grow. "We aim to make a centrally located Kids HUB where children and families can come to buy books and take part in these activities," said Duncan Cooper.
