POLICE are growing increasingly concerned about a Herefordshire doctor who has now been missing for one month.

Uma Kulkarni was reported missing from her home in Herefordshire on Wednesday, April 3, and is believed to be in the north Somerset or Bristol area.

She is thought to have travelled there because her car – a bronze-coloured Toyota Auris – was found near Aust Services close to the Severn Bridge crossing.

Uma is a 42-year-old Asian woman and is 5ft tall of slim build. She has black hair and both her ears are pierced. She normally wears earrings. It is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.

It is believed she most recently worked at the Cantilupe and Hampton Dene surgeries in Hereford.

Police have carried out enquiries in the area near the Severn Bridge, but say concern is growing for her welfare because there has been no contact from her.
