BRINSOP Court Estate will open its gates to the public this early May Bank Holiday for a very special woodland walk.

Held in aid of mental health charity Herefordshire Mind, the May 6 event is the first of many planned during the year.

Everyone is welcome to enjoy the four mile walk through the estate's beautiful 250-acre woodland and soak up the stunning scenery which surrounds Brinsop.

A shorter two and a half mile woodland route will also be signposted and a children's nature hunt will be available, with a small prize for every entry.

Mike Lowe, General Manager at Brinsop Court said: "This is the first time the grounds of Brinsop have been open in this way, so we do ask people to come along, enjoy a fun day and really lend their support to a local charity at the same time."

Gates open from 10.30am to 4.30pm, with last walkers' registration at 2pm and friendly dogs on leads are welcome.

Parking and entry to the woodland walk is free, but walkers are invited to make a much-needed donation to Herefordshire Mind.
