Ross Bridge Club's annual charity evening raised £400.
The beneficiaries are Home-Start Herefordshire, which helps families with children, and The Madison Shelbie Trust bereavement charity.
Home-Start supports families experiencing stress and struggling to cope. A team of 70 volunteers provide an early intervention home visiting and support service. Last year, it helped more than 150 families.
The Madison Shelbie Trust is Ledbury-based, founded in 2015 by Sam Jones after her daughter, Madison, was stillborn. It supports parents and families similarly affected.
The bridge evening was held at the Larruperz Centre. The club runs Monday evening and Friday afternoon duplicate bridge sessions for 140 members. More details at www.rossonwyebridgeclub.org.uk.
