CLIMATE campaigners from across Herefordshire have taken to the streets of London to spread their message that we are facing an impending ecological disaster.

Alongside thousands of fellow protestors from around the country, the group are taking part in a major demonstration which has seen parts of London grind to a halt.

Protestors yesterday blocked roads and major tourist sites as part of an ongoing campaign of "international rebellion".

The Herefordshire group have joined with other groups from Bristol, Wales and the Marches in "locking down" Oxford Circus, one of four sites across the capital occupied by members of the global movement Extinction Rebellion as the demonstration continues today.

Protestors have also gathered at Parliament Square, Marble Arch, Piccadilly Circus and Waterloo Bridge.
